Pride Wide are global experts in storytelling and engagement – delivering a future where all LGBTQIA+ people are free, equal, visible, included, healthy and happy.

We are a new kind of global nonprofit for the LGBTQIA+ world.

Most LGBTQIA+ changemakers around the world focus on policy and litigation. They are often brilliant at persuading politicians or taking a case through the courts to force a change in the law.

But, sadly, they usually lack communication skills. Many of them hardly communicate with the general public at all. And when they do, their messages often don’t land.

That leaves a huge gap – which the enemies of progress and freedom are cleverly exploiting. Large parts of the news media are now hostile to LGBTQIA+ people. Trolls and bots shout down positive messages about us on social platforms. Our voices are drowned out.

When we were winning as a community, we were telling better stories than our opponents. Now, all too often, they are telling more effective stories than us. That has to change.

That’s why Pride Wide exists. To tell those better stories. To win hearts and minds.

We bring together community and business leaders and experts in mass media and charities/ NGOs from around the world. We are overseen by a global board of dedicated volunteers. And our executive founders have an international reputation as the founders and former owners of the much-missed Gay Star News, which had an unparalleled reputation for exclusive and investigative LGBTQIA+ storytelling.
